On a bright summer's afternoon, Clearway Driver Training took two cars and three instructors to Castleview School, Woodstock Avenue, Slough to offer 'driving lessons' to young visitors to the school's Summer Fete.
A driving course was laid out with cones in the large playground and a steady stream of eager young learner drivers were given a taste of driving a proper car around the course under the expert guidance of driving instructors Paul Kirkpatrick, Peter Fearon and Ted Plenty.
With drivers ranging in age from 3 to 16 years old, a variety of abilities were on display...in fact, some of the learners were so small that seeing over the steering wheel was difficult even when raised up with several cushions but that did not stop them from being able to steer around the course with varying levels of help.
The driving lessons activity proved to be the most popular attraction at the fete and so many customers were eager to try their hand at driving that a virtual queueing system had to be implemented.
Clearway Driver Training are delighted to have been able to help raise a considerable sum of money for the Castleview School PTA.
