Based in Langley, Berkshire, Clearway Driver Training offer driving lessons and intensive courses from friendly and reliable driving instructors! As well as Langley, we cover other towns and villages in the nearby area including Colnbrook.
One of the leading driving schools in Langley
We have been helping local people to learn to drive for over fifteen years now and have taught many students of Langley Academy, Langley Grammar School and, of course, East Berkshire College. As well as being happy to pass their driving test, they've also been happy with our student discounts on the cost of our driving lessons, helping them save money in the process!
Several of our driving instructors live in the immediate vicinity and their local knowledge and extensive experience has helped us to become one of the most trusted driving schools in Langley.
Peter Fearon is Clearway's Langley driving instructor. Peter has been with us since 2006, he's a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor and teaches in a Mazda 2. You can find out more about Peter on his profile page.
Learn To Drive in Langley
The village has a compact but busy shopping area at The Harrow Market with some narrow streets nearby leading to frequent congestion, especially around school finishing times and rush hour.
There are quite a few width restrictions in the area in an attempt to stop commercial vehicles using the narrow streets as cut-through routes. This is, in part, to do with the large number of business parks in the area including Axis Park, Deseronto Trading Estate, Waterside Drive and Canal Wharf.
Some of the area is given over to a large 20mph zone due to the number of schools nearby.
Further afield are the villages of Brands Hill, Colnbrook and Poyle. Brands Hill is situated on the main A4 London to Bath road and adjacent to Junction 5 of the M4 motorway. The historic village of Colnbrook has an "access-only" High Street due to the narrowness of many of its roads and the age of its wealth of listed and important buildings. Poyle, on the other hand, is home to a large industrial estate, is adjacent to London Heathrow Airport and the M25. All these factors generate quite a high volume of commercial traffic around Poyle.
So if passing your driving test is your aim, why not make a start by booking driving lessons with one of our team of fully qualified driving instructors in Langley!
